The church in question is I believe St. Mary's Catholic Church in Baldwinsville, New York. I have long admired the Arts and Crafts style of the wooden doors, and on that particular sunny autumn day they looked especially magnificent with all the stone and bright leaf wreaths. ReplyDeleteRegardless about how one might feel about religion, it can't be denied that churches enrich our architectural heritage. I love your viewpoints, especially in that last shot. It really gives a feeling of the soaring height of the facade.
