Another reason it needs to snow...

and get colder:  I'm tired of playing track the (canid) wildlife through my house via mud prints,

from the back door:

through the kitchen and into the library:

up the stairs:

to the upstairs hallway:

and beyond:

Darn.  Once again, I forgot to check for muddy feet before I opened the back door.  When's my backyard/mud pit going to freeze for the winter?  And where'd I put the carpet cleaner?

Those aren't muddy tracks, they're canine finger paintings! They rank right up there with canine nose art! :D

Very funny post. My dog is a leaf magnet and brings them in leaving a trail of dead twigs and leaves. But you got to love them.

Thank you for following my blog Squirrel’s View. I do hope you find many interesting and new things on it. Please feel free to comment and ask questions.

May there be lots of good nuts in your life,

I recogized those muddy spots on your carpets--I have them too, they spring up all over my house. I suspect my cat however since I have no dog(s). Once the dry season is over here, I meet my cat at the back door with wet paper towels to wash off his muddy paws.
